This project features a simple street graffiti: a blue circle painted on the street surrounded by the white letters N, U, W, Y arranged in a circle. When someone steps into the center of the blue circle and checks their position on Google Maps, they notice that the blue dot marking their location matches the blue circle of the graffiti. In this moment, the circle becomes the missing letter “O”, forming the phrase YOU NOW.
The message reflects exactly what the blue dot on the map tells the viewer: you are here right now. At the same time, the letters can also be read as NOW YOU, which feels like a small prompt or invitation to take action—whatever that action may be.
The artwork plays with orientation, navigation, and personal presence, turning a familiar map symbol into a short, thought-provoking street message.
